  • Are those air [nitrogen?] filled tires or are they solid rubber? Can’t imagine how the bead wouldn’t come apart at 1000mph on a pneumatic tire. Thanks

    • These are pneumatic tyres, for the runway tests only, so only need to do ~200mph. Full speed runs in the South African desert will be on solid aluminium wheels
