Maini will continue with Algarve in ELMS for Portugal race, switches to #25 car
The Indian will continue with Algarve team in the final round of 2020 ELMS season.
Arjun Maini will continue to race in the European Le Mans Series with Algarve Pro Racing Team, but the Indian will switch from #24 to #25 Oreca 07 - Gibson car in the lead LMP2 class for the 2020 season finale, 4 Hours of Portimao, which is the team's home event.
After a long break due to COVID-19 restrictions, Maini was back in action in ELMS with Algrave in the last round at Monza, where he replaced Loic Duval to race alongside Jon Lancaster and Henning Enqvist. They looked good for a podium but had to settle for eighth due to FCY.
For this weekend's Portimao round, Maini will replace Simon Trummer in the #25 car, to race alongside Gabriel Aubry and John Falb, with Duval returning in the #24 cockpit. The #25 car is 11th in the standings with 15.5 points, while #24 is 13th with 12.5 in its kitty.
