The new 911 RSR was the first Porsche GT race car to be fitted with state-of-the-art assistance systems to warn drivers of approaching prototypes.
The Collision Avoidance System indicates if vehicles are following directly behind via a monitor in the cockpit. Depending on the colour of the arrows, the driver knows whether the trailing car is coming closer or falling back.
Not only does this system work in fair weather, but also in rain, fog and at night.
