Maserati unveil three gorgeous one-off models for their 'Fuoriserie' programme
Time to let your hair down
They say you gotta strike while the iron is hot and Maserati is certainly using the hype and attention around the MC20. They teased their upcoming mid-size SUV, called the Grecale, and they've also unveiled three spectacular one-off special editions to showcase what their new customisation programme called "Fuoriserie" can do.
These three models are based on the (Trofeo-specced) Ghibli, Levante, and Quattroporte, built at the Centro Stile in Modena in partnership with Garage Italia and they are, as you can see from the pictures, very eccentric and original.
The Ghibli Trofeo Corsa features an extremely eye-catching brushed aluminium finish for the exterior with a double red stripe running from the boot to the bonnet, covering the entire length of the car. The cabin was completely reupholstered in black Alcantara except for the driver's seat, this is weird and weirdly attractive, which for some reason is upholstered in Chestnut-coloured leather. Odd.
Moving on we find the Levante Trofeo Futura, coming in with a variety of different colours including the 3D effect Graphite Blue you see here, with titanium grey wheels, while the interior features grey Alcantara upholstery for the headliner and white leather seats with grey inserts.
Finally, we have the Quattroporte Trofeo Unica, which is painted white with with rainbow effect for the windows, sitting on white alloys wheels with orange accents. Inside, you'll find turquoise leather covering everything from the seats to the centre console and the dashboard. Now, normally you'd notice the Maserati Trident embossed on the headrests but with this particular model, they've decided to up the ante by putting a Trident decoration literally everywhere.
Obviously you don't have to go that far if you're willing to customise your Maserati but the idea is to show you that it can be done.
