It's all been a bit hush hush when it's come to the second season of The Grand Tour. As most of us expect, this is more due to the fact that everything has been so up in the air because of the countless injuries and setbacks the trio have encountered this past year.

Finally, though, our questions have been answered and Andy Wilman, producer and all round nice guy has described the changes coming to the Amazon show later this year.

So, first of all, we're sorry to say that the tent is no longer roving, and that it will stay in the Cotswolds for the entirety of the studio segments. Wilman says: "We'll keep the studio in one place, and given how accident prone they are at the minute, that can only be a good thing!" The good news is that you can now buy tickets! Next on the list is the incredible road trips the trio embark on. Andy Wilman says:

"Customers continually tell us that their favourite segments of The Grand Tour are the travelling adventures of Jeremy, Richard and James, so despite the various calamities and injuries along the way, the guys have spent this year exploring more incredible and stunning locations than ever before... and getting into more trouble of course."

The filming locations include Croatia, Mozambique, Dubai, Spain, Switzerland, Colorado and New York, so there's plenty to get excited over! Does this also mean no Celebrity Brain Crash? And no American? We're not sure, but we'll keep an ear out.

So who's excited? I certainly am! If you've lost a bit of the buzz though - it has been a very long time since the first season - take a look at the teaser below!

  • If they (please, please, please) drop The American, it'd be funny to replace him with The Italian, or maybe The Frenchman. They could play up the characteristics of a different country's drivers each season. You're welcome Amazon.

    • I always imagined they should make The American have his mouth duck taped. I mean that's why Andy and Jeremy made the The Stig be silent, right? Because Jeremy thought, and i quote, ""the opinions of all racing drivers are completely...

  • If the American stays, allow him to give proper racing driver comments about the car (which may also contradict Richard,James or Jeremy's view) OR BRING ON Jenson Button.....

  • Please, no celebrity brain crash. Or convoluted conversation street. Keep it natural between the guys. Last series was too scripted.

  • I like the thought of tanner foust as the race driver. NASCAR drivers know left hand turns, but I think a drifting/ rally background could really help. He's a little more congenial as well 😁

    • Hey John, I just have to point you to Omri! He had a cool Tanner Foust interview about a week ago. Keep your eye on Alex, he always has the inside scoop.

    • I saw it, that actually reminded me that he was not on top gear anymore. I've always kinda liked his stuff.

  • Please drop the celebrity brain crash. Jeremy is a fantastic interviewer, I'd love to see him interview guests.

    • I didn't mind the Christmas thing with what amounted to a video chat.

    • They are not allowed to do it because BBC would sue them for copyright infringment or something similar. The whole celebrity brain crash gag was a middle finger towards their former employers.. but hope they drop it, the joke became...
