Max Verstappen ordered to attend Marrakesh ePrix as part of community service
After some highly controversial moves on track in the 2018 Brazilian Grand Prix, things got a bit heated at the weigh bridge between Max Verstappen and Esteban Ocon. We all know how it went, there were shoves, and then there were some more shoves and that was that.

Make of it what you will but Max was handed two days community service for his actions. Since then, there has been no word on the nature of the punishment he would be given or when it would have to be served, but the consensus was that he would most likely be spending some time with young racers teaching the values of safety and respect on and off track.
Well, the FIA have decided what it will be and its not that!
As the first day of his punishment, Max will be spending the day at the second race in the Formula E season, in Marrakesh. He won't be in the grandstand with the fans or hanging out in the pits, he will be watching the race from the stewards room!
In a statement given to Motorsport.com, an FIA representative clarified that Max will "spend the day as an observer to the stewards, closely following their work at a top-level international motor sport event as part of the educational and informative approach taken by the FIA in this matter."
The second day of his punishment is yet to be decided but if its anything like the first, he is probably looking forward to it!
