May the force be in your car: Star Wars inspired cars
Why not for May the 4th?
Today is May the 4th and today is the one day where your Star Wars-obsessed friend never shuts up. I am that friend today. Welcome to my car themed Star Wars article of the day.
Here I shall show you some cool Star Wars-inspired cars and items in cars. Let's get cracking.
The Jaguar F-Type's headlight
The F-Type is known for being purchased by the person who couldn't afford an Aston Martin. The truth is that its bought by the friend who wanted an Aston Martin but never shuts up about Star Wars. The headlights were modelled from a TIE fighter in the movies and the resemblance is clear once you see it.
Fiat 500e Stormtrooper
You can have a relatively inexpensive (for EVs) city car that fights for control in the Galactic Empire. Not sure the 42KWh battery or the 111bhp motor will do much fighting though.
Who cares though? Just look at it.
Nissan Rogue Resistance X-Wing
Another slightly awful car that was improved by Star Wars. I think its pretty easy to spot the connection. I just wish that those guns were real then it would be really fun.
Dodge Charger Hellcat Stormtrooper
Now here is a car worthy of the Stormtrooper outfit. Dodge teamed up with Uber and Hot Wheels to make this one-of-a-kind car. The car was created as a life-size version of a toy car made by Hot Wheels to celebrate the release of The Force Awakens. The workers at Uber got to use it for a while too. Better than some groper taking them to work as the traditional Uber.
Hyundai Veloster "Ivor Vett"
This one isn't based around Stormtroopers for a change. It's based on the transport on the planet Kamino where The Mandalorian bounty hunter lives. Rebekah Stieg Knuth (an artist) used vinyl wraps to give the car this cool new look. Only one thing missing: A back door for Baby Yoda.
