McLaren 720LT Spied Testing At The Nurburgring
Underneath that camoflague is McLaren's latest limited edition supercar.
At a recent track testing session, McLaren's latest supercar was spied setting some hot laps. This camoed up 720S McLaren is most likely the Long Tail high-performance trim that McLaren introduces towards the end of their supercars' life cycle.
Much like a caterpillar, a McLaren supercar's life cycle comes in three stages. First, there's the debut of the base model which is the young caterpillar eating leaves and learning about the world. Second, the caterpillar builds a cocoon and studies its findings while transforming its shape, this is when Mclaren releases a roofless spider version. Finally, the caterpillar emerges as a beautiful butterfly defying logic, this is McLaren's Long Tail trim.
What do we know about the 720LT? Well, nothing is confirmed but we can speculate which is what I'll do from now on. Traditionally McLaren adds more power, bigger, brakes, and sacrifices some comfort features for performance.
As details are leaked we'll be sure to report on them but for now, all we can do is guess. If you've made it this far thank you for reading my synopsis of a caterpillar's life cycle.
