I finally added a McLaren F1 roadcar to my McLaren collection. The is a Minichamps 1/18 scale finished in a beautiful Metallic Grey. I thought this would be a good car to work on my photography skills, play around with my new lighting setup and dial in my camera settings. Overall I am very pleased with the results. It was cool to see how lighting from different angles and brightnesses changed the results. My favorite of the lot is the main picture at the top of the page.
The details on the interior are amazing on this model.
Thanks for checking out my post.

I will say you might want to use a piece of paper or something to diffuse the light a bit so you don't have such bright spots. Otherwise the moodiness makes these quite interesting!
Thanks for the idea, I will have to give that a try next time around.
What light setup do you use?
I use a 12” selfie ring light mounted on a post tripod.
Ah, ok. I love the angles but they seem underexposed.
I like it try maybe using a outside photo it really brings out the car and it’s details
