Up until now, McLaren have never had a dedicated racing series that focuses purely on their own fleet of cars. Other rival manufacturers including the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche each feature their own take on racing but now it's the plucky Brits turn.
Part of the Sport Series, the 570S sits at the top of the table and now is available in race car spec known as the 570S GT4. Still based on the same chassis and engine, the GT4 features revised brakes and suspension with even more aggressive aero. It sits upon lightweight alloys covered in racing slicks, a full race spec interior with a roll cage, bucket seats and harnesses.
This weekend just gone saw the first event held at the famous Paul Ricard circuit in France. Almost like a tester, the full series will commence next year at various tracks over Europe and is available to anyone... with a bank account big enough that is.
