Meet The Biggest LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Model You Can Buy
Two figure-sized sets later, the Ecto-1 gets a giant-sized edition with over four times the parts
LEGO has already created two versions of the iconic Ecto-1 car from Ghostbusters: the original one based from a fan design and the one from the female-led Answer The Call film. Now, a considerably larger set has been released for those who have the money and room for it.
At 2352 pieces, it's the biggest official model you can buy, which may or may not be great if you take into account the £180 price tag. This set was meant to tie in with the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, but with the film postponed, LEGO released the set anyway.
What do you get for your money? A kit designed by Michael Psiaki (who did the Aston Martin DB5 LEGO model) that lets you build the converted 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance that the Ghostbusters use in their adventures. That includes play features like "a moving ghost sniffer activated by the wheels, an extendable rear gunner seat" plus steerable wheels and as much detail as can be packed into it.
It'll be available only at LEGO's shop website from 15 November so go save up.
