This is the new Praga R1, the successor to the 2020 Britcar Endurance championship-winning car (7 wins in 9 races), coming in with an all-carbon body and a much larger (+50%, up to 32 litres) fuel tank. The R1 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine developed in partnership with Renault Alpine, putting out 365 bhp and 302 torques.
The R1 is built on a carbon fibre monocoque, with a carbon splitter, rear wing and diffuser and that translates into a 15% improvement in downforce and a 5% reduction in drag and, more to the point, it drastically reduces weight as the R1 tips the scales at 643kg.
