Cigarette Racing presents the 515 Project One boat, a special edition inspired by the Mercedes-AMG supercar. As promised, the boat builder Cigarette Racing has just presented a model inspired by the Mercedes-AMG Project One, new fruit of the collaboration between the two marks started eleven years ago. The Cigarette Racing 515 Project One is the ninth ship resulting from this partnership.
This special edition is recognizable by its livery, taking again that of the prototype of the supercar presented last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, with a black lower part like the visible carbon fiber of the car, and the metallic gray top. It must be said that its structure includes carbon, but also kevlar. Based on the Marauder 50, the 515 Project One has been slightly lengthened and expanded to provide better comfort for six occupants.
On the performance side, the 515 Project One draws 1.350hp from its two engines, or 1.550hp with competition fuel and a special key. It can reach 225 km / h, enough to make it a true supercar of the seas.
The Mercedes-AMG Project One, meanwhile, is still in development for arrival on the roads in 2019. It is driven by a 1.6L V6 in central-rear position directly derived from F1. Helped by a turbocharger with electric drive and three other electric motors, it develops more than 1.000hp and takes the car at 100 km / h in 2.5s then up to more than 350 km / h peak.

I'm astonished by this boat which is the result of a collaboration between two different and complementary transportation industries. Rolls Royce develops autonomous cargos projects meanwhile the Vindskip would have a new Wind Power System. I like the way you mix the shipping and the motoring worlds in your review.
Thanks, Aurélie
