Mercedes and Bose part ways after six years

Mercedes (the F1 team) and Bose part ways after six years. That's the news. But I'm always curious when it comes to these things. I'm assuming Bose was happy with Mercedes as the team won a combined 11 championships (6 Constructors' and 5 Driver's Championships) out of a possible 12 during their partnership. As ever, it probably came down to vile old cash. Mercedes probably wanted more, or maybe they found a better deal somewhere else. But whatever. What do you think of Bose? Do you own any of their products?

I’m sure it’s money. I’ve owned a number of Bose products through the years and they are excellent.
I own several Bose products, great quality.
Is it because Toto smashed a Bose headset in Saudi Arabia? 🤪

Bose has a solid rep in the US. An expanded lineup of products have led to some different opinions of the company as a whole. I own a sound link unit which I bring golfing, on vacation etc. Great outdoor capability for the size. My Audi has a Bose system and it’s solid.
But just like cars, competitors catch up.
When I was growing up, Bose made its name because of the size-to-sound ratio (I made that term up). They packed a punch for the size and you paid good money for it. There are other options now, but many will always use Bose as the industry “barometer” if you will.
Very nice, their cars will be cool and the fact the burmester sound system is cool excellent alongside predecessors that used the Harmon/Kardon system which wasn’t as good but Bose products are very good there is no denying
