Lewis Hamilton is up for a tough race at the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend, after crashing out at qualifying today and will be starting the Grand Prix from the back of the grid.
The recently crowned World Champion tweeted on Friday night that his team were held at gun point when leaving the Sao Paolo Circuit from the practice session. Hamilton stated that gun shots were fired and one of the Mercedes AMG crew members was held at gunpoint.
The World Champion went onto state that these kind of holdups happen every year in Brazil and that F1 and the teams need to do more to prevent it. Thankfully, noone was hurt in the holdup.
