MG to release the Cyberster EV sports car
MG announce their new 497 mile range sports car with performance to back up the astonishing looks
MG have unveiled the new Cyberster concept in China. The all electric sports car is said to "inherit the classic convertible shape and recalls MG tradition". Although they have not yet released the full details on the car, they say it is will have a 497 mile range and a 0-62mph time of less than 3 seconds which is certainly going to be scary in a convertible sports car.

Looks are also on the car's side as it has striking styling designed to make it stand out amongst other EVs. It has a 'laser belt' LED strip along the side . The interior will feature a futuristic display in front of the driver. It will also incorporate 5G technology and level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.
The director of SAIC Design Advanced London Carl Gotham said "The Cyberster is a bold statement that looks strongly into MG's future. It touches on our heritage but more importantly, building on our cutting edge technology and advanced design. Sports car are the lifeblood of MG DNA and Cyberster is a hugely exciting concept for us.
It was announced the concept would be put into production at the Shanghai Motor Show and will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of MG which will be in 2024.
