MG's long illustrious history has lead to many excellent cars but one that often gets forgotten about is the MG ZV supercar from the early 2000's.

This car was supposed to be the saviour of MG Rover and would have helped bring them back to profitability. Alas it was just too good to be true and MG Rover collapsed on April 14th 2005. But what was left of MG, aside from an ageing fleet of rebadged Rovers was the MG ZV. A V8 monster that was actually a very exciting car for many in the early 2000s. Jeremy Clarkson liked it, even when its speedometer 'went a bit Longbridgey' on him and stopped working.

Mike Fernie from the DriveTribe YouTube channel takes a retrospective look in to the MG SV to see whether it was really worth all the rave.

    • I would have loved one new. I agree though this would have been great inspiration for the TT. I'm actually hoping to borrow one of these myself for a review soon.
