MiniGT recalls unreleased Lambos due to quality concerns
Several 1/64 Liberty Walk Aventadors have officially been scrapped.
I'm not going to lie, I was pretty surprised to see MiniGT announce on their Facebook page that they were proactively recalling a model that did not live up to their quality expectations. According to the release, a black Liberty Walk Aventador was going to be among the first models produced at their Bangladesh factory. Based on quality checks, some models were good, others were not so great. MiniGT decided to pull the plug on the whole operation because they were not willing to risk their reputation over it. The McLaren Senna cars from MiniGT we've seen here on LaLD have been fantastic, so a quality Lamborghini models are expected.

All models of the black Aventador have been recalled, and subsequently plans for the Volcano Yellow and Fighter Works Matte Grey Aventadors have been cancelled. This comes only a month after Lamborghini themselves pulled the plug on MiniGT's plans for the Liberty Walk Aventador Works Zero Fighter.
While I applaud MiniGT for putting their concerns for utmost quality first, the only Lamborghini I see on their website is a preorder for, you guessed it, a Liberty Walk Aventador in baby blue. That Lambo lists a release date of September 30th of this year, so why is it still in preorder status? It must be out by now, because there's a ton of them listed on ebay...
