Misano: Vinales 'convinced' of race prospects

Maverick Vinales is ‘convinced’ he can enhance his MotoGP title prospects this weekend at Misano in Italy.
Vinales will be the Movistar Yamaha team’s sole representative on the factory M1 after Valentino Rossi was ruled out of his home race through injury.
The young Spaniard is only 13 points behind Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso in the championship standings and Vinales says an improved feeling with his Yamaha has given him extra motivation for the upcoming races.
“In Silverstone it was really good and I was feeling great, especially in the last laps of the race – I pushed myself 100 per-cent and the bike was there, so I am very happy for that,” he said.
