Porsche Works driver Earl Bamber will start the GT World Cup race in Macau from the third row after securing P5 in qualifying.
The No. 912 911 GT3 R starts ahead of Porsche Young Professional Mathieu Jaminet who qualified his Porsche ninth, while his teammate Darryl O’Young, from Hong Kong, begins from P13.
Things didn't go so well for Laurens Vanthoor, whose 'Grello' No. 911 car was shunted into the barrier by another contestant shortly after qualifying started. The Belgian was unhurt but 'Grello' was damaged beyond repair.
The main event kicks off at 05:25 CET on Sunday.
