Monsters come in all shapes and forms...like a BMW R1100GS powered Citroen 2CV

Now with around 200Hp per Ton, capable of reaching 9.200Rpm and one of the funniest machines we have seen

Today we have something different, a Citroen 2CV powered by an engine from a BMW R1100GS bike. With around 100Hp/9.200Rpm to move not much more than 500Kg, this is Alex De Vries quirky creation and the machine he took to Retro Rides Gathering 2017 at Shelsley Walsh.

This unit is most particularly a 1987 Citroen 2CV6 Bamboo and is an ongoing project of several years that is certainly still not completed. Competing regularly on British Hillclimb events, falling under the MSA Sports Libre class, but possibly on the verge of being subject to a big step in its evolution: the installation of a Rotrex Supercharger.
