As with many project bikes, time is the biggest cause of damage. In this case the cooling system did not fair well. Unsure if it was from having the wrong coolant in the system or just got unlucky with age. Nothing that can not be fixed, but something that people should look out for when assessing a project. For the Bimota it just means more time spent cleaning, and more money spent on new hoses and fittings. Not the end of the world by any means. I personally am happy to share the ups and downs of any project. Far to many only focus on the wins, and fail to give a good view into the work it sometimes takes to get a relatively modern vehicle back on the road after storage.
