The $29 900 starting price is very attractive. Especially since it qualifies for federal and state incentives. So it will be around $20 000. But the "estimated range" has been revised to just 110 miles for the US market. Which is really not much.
It is the same price as a basic Nissan Leaf. But the Leaf gets a much more practical 150 miles Range. Of course, the Leaf is no Mini. And it doesn't offer the cachet of the sportier European car. And still, the pretty loaded Signature Plus model will be priced the same as a basic gas Mini Cooper after incentives. Which is a great price. If you don't drive too far...
