Most of the DRIVETRIBE community support hydrogen cars over electric cars because of that recognizable sound. But the problem is that, well, they don’t make that sound. In fact the sound they make can barely be heard, and most of the time the only thing that you’ll be hearing is the wind and the tires. So what really is the big difference between these two cars? Is it really necessary to hate on electric cars when they really aren’t that different? Please comment down below your thoughts. And no the answer isn’t about how they charge slowly or how they’re range isn’t impressive, in a few years they’ll be just as good as any other car!

Mainly because Hydrogen internal combustion engine (HICE) is way more logic
There aren't batteries of some kind necessary, those batteries are containing rare materials. These are coming from different forests around the world fi the Amazone. This means they have to get rid of the trees.
They also dont have a solution for what to do with the batteries after
HICE is using the technology that's in development for over 100 years.
The only downside of it is the high temperature which results in a reaction between nitrogen and oxygen, resulting in NOx emissions.
This can be solved by a big part to use a air filter, katalysator and water injection
Hydrogen internal combustion engines are just as bad as Diesel engines.
Well except they dont emit CO_2
But more NOx due to higher temperature
A katalysator will add CO to the NOx and that'll result in CO2+N2
Read morelet's be honest here... Hydrogen or synthetic fuels are pretty much the solution that no carmaker will look into because the sheep herd is blindly following the fearmongers of a climate change saying that digging upo the ground for limited resources with diesel machinery and dirty factories will be far more environmental friendly than sucking up dinosaur juice from the ground and sending it to be refinated...
Hydrogen in ICE only generates half of the power of the petrol counterpart. The only economically feasible way is fuel cell, which is just another power source for EV.
Exactly
We usually prefer hydrogen over electric because the possibility of using hydrogen on ICEs, battery EVs are just frowned upon because of their association with Teslirant, responsible of the begining of the darkest age for car culture so far. Basically we will choose anything over electricity (when conviniece or more serious matters are not involved), hydrogen, Co2 based fuel, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, anything, the ICE is the keystone of our cars, and car culture itself, we won't leave them without a fight, specially now when our dreams are so shamelessly broken and futures stolen. You better get used to it, but be aware that 80% of the heated arguments are just friendly banter.
I don’t really understand you on the futures stolen part but still thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I basically turn Greta's words against her, "You broke my dreams and stole my future" But what about mine? My dreams are being able to have a vehicle made/modded to fit my tastes and standards as well as participating as much as possible in...
Read moreI think the way forward is Hydrogen Fuel cell not Hydrogen combustion because you get much higher energy density than current batteries but the same efficiency of an electric motor as well as being lighter.
