Multi-Car Pile-up caught on dashcam
A great example of why it's important to keep a safe driving distance at all times
Dashcam footage has emerged of a shocking multi-car pile-up on a highway outside Williamsburg, Virginia.
The video, which was recorded by a trucker, shows seven vehicles driving too close together on the motorway before one of the lead cars brakes abruptly causing the cars to smash into one other in a messy multi-car pile up.
The truck driver, Daniel Condon, uploaded the footage to YouTube commenting: "The state troopers were extremely grateful for my dashcam video of an accident you are about to see. I was grossed out close to 80,000 lbs. I was fortunate I was able to stop my truck. The outcome could have been much worse. Thankfully, there was no serious injuries or fatalities. Please be careful out there, people."
This is a perfect example of why you should always leave a safe distance between yourself and the car in front.
*Cut to around 1m 55s for the action.
