Mumbai Falcons enter 2022 F4 UAE season with Shah, Aradhya

The Indian team will field two Indian drivers in F4 UAE.

Apart from running in the Formula Regional Asia Championship, Mumbai Falcons has confirmed its entry in the Formula 4 UAE series in tandem with Xcel Motorsport. They will have two cars in the championship where one will be run in partnership with the 2020 champions.

Sohil Shah will drive the car, having completed a testing programme in Italy. It is first-ever international single-seater programme, while the second car will feature Yash Aradhya who comes off from few rounds in French F4. Both of them will be mentored by Aditya Patel.

Upon the announcement, Moid Tungekar, CEO, Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited, said: "We are delighted to enter our first Formula UAE Championship season. The success we achieved last year in Formula Regional Asian Championship was a great start and definitely helped the growth of India's motorsports movement, which is essential to our programme.

"We are proud to field drivers from India, and we are looking forward to working with XCEL Motorsport. We cannot wait for the season to start and while we expect it to be quite challenging with this year’s large championship grid. We are sure to experience some fantastic competition.”

Round 1: Yas Marina Circuit, Jan 20-23

Round 2: Dubai Autodrome, Jan 28-30

Round 3: Dubai Autodrome, Feb 4-6

Round 4: Dubai Autodrome, Feb 11-13

Round 5: Yas Marina Circuit, Feb 17-20
