Tondela is a quiet town, encompassing part of the Serra do Caramulo in the northern reaches of Central Portugal. It's not exactly where you would expect to find a car collection, but located high up in the hills is Museu do Caramulo, which houses an extensive array of vehicles and motorcycles dating back to the genesis of self-powered transport. Founded in 1950, this museum is host to some intriguing automotive specimens, including the Mercedes-Benz 770 Grosser of former Portuguese Prime Minister António Salazar.
