Mustang Mach 1 special edition confirmed for Europe
This will be the first time the 'Mach' nameplate has been used since 2004.
The Ford Mustang is the first thing that pops to mind when people think of the ideal car for picking up pretty women - and guys as well, because we all love a Mustang no matter our sexual orientation - and then giving them PTSD by drifting in a field. Now, thanks to Ford's generosity, it's possible to now give your partner a heart attack by buying the new Mustang Mach 1.
If you are not convinced, then I will bring forward to you the words of the company itself, which stated that the new car is "the fastest production Mustang around a track ever offered to customers in Europe". The car will act as a bridge in the gap between the standard Mustang and the Shelby-tuned GT500 that arrived earlier this year.
The car is also going to be the first Mustang to be sold in Britain under the Mach 1 moniker, and it's estimated to cost around £49,000 - the same price as the limited-edition Bullitt Mustang that went on sale last year.
Now what do you get for such a reasonably low price in comparison to its European rivals? Well, you get an upgraded 5.0-litre V8 engine that produces 473bhp, can do 0-62 4.3sec and allows the car to do a top speed of 155mph.
This in my opinion could be evidence that the Americans can make an amazing car, and I think that it will great entertainment for British petrolheads who are getting annoyed with the constant electrification of cars nowdays.
