Mustang Update:
Brakes have been bled. We drove it today and the right front wheel locks up when braking. The engine is blowing a blue tinted smoke so we’re burning oil. And the driver side window decided to not go up and it has the original steering in it. We’re putting a rack and pinion steering with power steering and a front disk brake conversion. After we drive it after we do all of that, we will see if the engine is still burning oil which it probably will be. Then we’re going to have to pull out the engine and put a 302 Ford engine in it. After that it’s going to be sent to the transmission shop to see how well the original cruise-o-matic (automatic) is holding up. And that is why the 1965 Ford Mustang with a 289 upgraded to a 289 Hi Performance is the perfect project car.
