With a much-needed cash injection from new investors, MV Agusta has really been pushing forward with new models left right and centre. Their 2020 lineup has just been revealed and there are some beautiful limited-edition specials, together with regular versions for those who want to join the MV family without having to sell any vital organs.
Brutale & Dragster 800 SCS
This year's Brutale and Dragster models have the SCS (smart clutch system) option which has trickled down from the Turismo Veloce. I wrote about the new clutch system here
MV fans were disappointed to hear the Superveloce would only be a limited-edition run earlier this year
Thankfully MV has listened to its fans and created a full production version in two models, the serie Oro special and the regular base model. Both use the same 800cc triple engine from the Brutale above
Brutale 1000 Serie Oro (and base model)
My personal favourite of MV Agusta's 2020 lineup is the new Brutale 1000. Using their tried and tested 1000cc inline-four motor from the F4 superbike, this naked beast boasts 208 horsepower and 127Nm of torque. It'll be a real beast at just 186kg and a possible contender for the ultimate naked, against the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and new Aprilia Tuono and KTM SuperDuke.
The good news is there's also a base model that comes in at a price more of us can afford.
F3 800 RC
If you're still a diehard sportsbike fanatic, you'll be glad to hear MV Agusta still caters for you in the form of the F3 675 and 800. This one is the fancy RC variant with higher quality components and the same screaming 800cc triple motor at its heart.
There's also new Turismo Veloce sports tourers/adventure models
