My idea of a perfect world has always been that gasoline powered supercars and gasoline powered ultra-luxury cars would still be around in the near future but that gasoline powered daily drivers would become illegal. But after a long time of living with this thought, I have finally changed my mind. I have come to think that gasoline powered cars should not exist at all in the future, and it is better for the world to turn fully electric and never have to use gasoline again. It is simply better for the environment. I know this might trigger a lot of people reading this but I want to let you all know that this is just my opinion and that I respect everyone else’s opinions too. But if you want to know what a perfect world is from me, then this is what you will hear.

Overall EVs are better for the environment but you were talking about petrol cars. I'm sure you've heard of it already but what about synthetic fuels? If prices can come down, we could keep the ICE we love and be carbon neutral. Even more carbon neutral than an EV! What do you think?
I would definitely support that! But I want to see what happens first. I want to see the idea seem possible first.
You don’t need to sacrifice ICE to save the planet because this
youtu.be/HFKkqqdm5BE and this youtu.be/yCNkmi7VE0I exist, what I show you here are the two most promising alternative fuel source for ICE, it’s renewable, CO2 neutral, and identical to our conventional fuel, which is mean no or little modification required to run
I looked at the videos and it seems promising. If it really becomes a reality it could mean great news to the planet!
Last time I checked, Prometheus, one of the companies that develop synthetic fuel have planned to sell their fuel in California early next year, and they got investment from BMW
