My list of the top Youtube automotive channels
Even including a YouTuber or two found here on DriveTribe!
I had found this channel in late of August 2018 and have watched almost every video on the channel since then. It is more of a list channel and contains facts about cars that I never even knew about. My favorite video on that channel has to be 'Cancelled cars that never made it to production' because that is where I found my love for rare and special edition cars. As it turns out, the person who runs the channel is also on DriveTribe, Styp P!
Next up is the more popular YouTuber who makes reviews of new and quirky cars, Doug DeMuro. I have gained a lot of info from his videos on all of the little individual details and 'quirks' on my favorite cars which made me more of a car person and also inspired me to become an auto mechanic. My favorite review to this day from his channel is when he reviewed the Saab 9-5 from 2011.
AR12Gaming, also known as Nick, is my go-to channel for racing games content. By following his advice through many gaming techniques I was able to know how to upgrade and properly race cars in FH4 as well as obtaining my dream cars and rare cars in the game. He also covers other racing games such as F1 2020, The Crew 2, and FM7. I also love watching his different relay races on FH4 because there are always unexpected outcomes and is entertaining.
Also another DriveTriber has landed on this list, Jason Fenske also known by his channel, Engineering Explained. When becoming a part time auto mechanic, I did some more research on cars to better understand the mechanical parts and how they work together to propel a car and make it go. Now with his help, I have replaced camshafts on mid-2000's Honda Civics and have performed many fluid and oil changes. My favorite video is when he did a 2 million subscriber special and bought a red Tesla Model 3.
Jay Leno's Garage
Last but not least, the legend, Jay Leno. His car collection is comprised of some of the coolest cars on the face of the Earth and he also drives most of them instead of leaving them to collect dust! And yeah sure, we share the same birthday but that's not why he is on this list. He was the first celebrity car enthusiast I had ever known of from my childhood and hopefully someday, I want to visit his garage.
