MY PHONE BECAME TIDDLES FROM TOP GEAR
DO YOU REMEMBER TIDDLES...NOW I HAVE ONE IN MY POCKET
Yes, as you read in the title, my phone had a tragical experience
I got out of the office earlier than usual, I texted my family as I walked for my car, but then I had to find the keys in my bag. So I put my phone on the roof of my Peugeot 2008, then as usual I opened the doors and the windows to let hot air out of the car, I started the engine and I put the air-con at max speed; after removing the sunshade from the windscreen I closed the doors and set off.
I drove at less than 50 km/h (which is rare while leaving work on Friday), I was thinking about how I should spend my unexpected free time when I arrived at a roundabout and then, while I was turning I saw a shadow on my right and I heard something hitting my car, first I thought that my sunshade was sucked out of the car by the air (I had all my windows down).
I checked in the mirror, but no, then I thought that I ran over a cyclist, but no, then I noted that on the screen of the car there was a message saying "The Bluetooth connection suddenly stopped"...and then I realized that I left my mobile on the roof
I immediately go back to that roundabout and I found it lying on the ground, fortunately only the screen is damaged
It's not the first time I put something on my roof, when I do it I put also my car keys, so when I sit behind the wheel I can't start the engine, so I remember that there's something on the roof.
This experience made me think...why do people (me included) puts things on the roof? It is such a stupid idea, it is plenty of space inside...
