Just a wonder. I spotted this motorbike a few days ago. When I posted it on my bike spotting tribe and Twitter, it seems to have caused quite a bit of interest as to what bike it is. One of my Tribe members suggested that perhaps it's a custom made bike. I have no idea. Can you possibly shed any light on it for us and perhaps solve this little mystery? Any help appreciated. Apologies for mentioning this in your post, but we're all just so curious

Thought it was a Yamaha air cooled RD motor for a minute because of the large square fins, but looks like a thumper when zoomed.
OK, I'm getting ready to duck since what I'm about to suggest is bordering on blasphemy, but you did say in that Lagonda piece that a vehicle needs to be taken out regularly. Maybe you have too many bikes for each one to get its fair share of "exercise" and that's why they throw a hissy fit when it's their turn? *runs away*
Maybe he should "donate" some of the lesser used bikes to "needy" people.
Ooh, I like the colour scheme on this one. It may be being naughty, but it's looking very pretty while doing so. I know a few people like that come to think of it...
