A wing is about so much more than mere aerodynamics; it's a statement of intent, a signal of potential; they're a flourish, a final flick of the designer's pen, an elegant seraph to the car's body. A wing can integrate seamlessly into the flow of the car's shape or break out of it as a glorious, disruptive reminder that be it beautiful or not, this thing was made to damn near fly.
