SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!

NASCAR returns this Sunday to Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota Save Mart 350.

Last year's race was something of an all-Ford event during the final stage, as Kevin Harvick won handily over fellow Stewart-Haas teammate Clint Bowyer, both of whom are having an excellent season so far in 2018. Penski Racing driver Brad Keselowski ended up third. Danica Patrick, now a former NASCAR driver, had a bad streak of luck in this race, having been run into by other drivers more times than a bumper in a pinball machine.

In case you are curious as to which track this is, no, it's not that one track with the corkscrew in it.

Remember to tune into FS1/Fox Sports 1 this Sunday (the last Fox broadcast of the season, as NBC Sports takes over next week), as 39 drivers are heavily favored not to win.

  • NASCAR is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but it needs a little more... action to secure its presence in the future. I recommend loading the track with explosive mines and rigging the cars with EMP blasters. Now THAT would be a sight to see. Love your work !

    • Shame to hear about the noise restrictions at Laguna Seca. The Nashville (Tennessee) Fairgrounds Speedway has had the same problem in recent years. The track was opened in 1904 &...
