Here's why you shouldn't piss about when entering or exiting the pit lane. This racer decided at the last minute he was going to try for another lap, only to collide with a fast-moving bike already on the circuit at Italy's Mugello track.
The guy responsible had his racing license revoked, according to the description.

Jesus. Rightfully so, having his tags yanked. Clearly committed to pit lane, then has a stroke or something and forgets where he is at. Second rider will probably develop a twitch going by pit entry from now on. Hope all ok, it does look nasty - as suggested.
