Netflix Made A Car Show Worth Watching

We can finally recommend a new car show.

Creating a successful car show is a difficult endeavor that usually results in failure. Among of the half-baked build shows and would be Top Gear knock offs lies Paul Hollywood's Big Continental Road Trip, a Netflix original worth watching.

Paul Hollywood, the host of the Big Continental Road Trip is known for his role as a celebrity chef on The Great British Bake Off, but it turns out a perfectly crafted cupcake isn't the only thing Mr. Hollywood enjoys.

Paul is actually a part time racing driver with seat time behind the wheel of a Aston Martin GT4 Vantage. He began his career in 2015 when he raced an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for Beechdean AMR in Britcar at Silverstone. After placing second at Silverstone, Hollywood also raced at Le Mans in GT Cup where he won.

Paul took his love of cars and mixed it with his presentation skills to create a very unique car show. Each episode features the cars, people, and industry of a specific European nation.

This short 3 episode series takes viewers across Europe experiencing the unique car culture of each European nation. Paul spends time behind the wheel of supercars, tiny Fiat 500s, and even prototype Paganis. Each episode features the cars, people, and industry of a specific European nation. The idea is to meet the people behind the cars and places where they're made.

  • Reminds me of an old Clarkson series - Jeremy Clarkson: Visits the Neighbours.

  • Ummmm... Clarkson did it like 10 years ago, it was called "Clarkson meets the neighbors"

    Seems worth watching though
