New Netflix Teaser Features An Old BMW, Heel & Toe, And An Air-Cooled Porsche

Remember the first Transporter movie? If you looked beyond the cheesy writing and the pathetic acting you'd find a really decent premise for a car-based action flick. We certainly hope that's what Wheelman is going to be, a Transporter type of film with a much grittier and serious tone.

The film will premier on Netflix, and the teaser headline reads: "One more drive, then he's out." The premise from that alone sounds a bit cliche, just like most gun-for-hire type of plots where the professional takes on that "One Last Job" only to find that it's the toughest assignment they've ever faced and has the most to lose from.

Regardless of the lame tagline, the trailer from the movie is anything but. Starting from the old school BMW (E39 5 Series is our guess), which gets properly driven with quick upshifts and proper heel-and-toe downshifts, to the brief glimpse of an air-cooled era Porsche that gets driven hard, this movie ticks the proper boxes for automotive enthusiasts everywhere.

Perhaps the best thing about this movie is that you don't have to wait long until it comes out! Watch it on Netflix when it comes out on October 20th!

  • That's definitely an E46 3 series. Cup holder in the center console, door handles, slope on trunk

  • As an E39 540i owner, that's an E46. The door lock button is raised up, vice flat in E39s. E39s also have a center headrest in the back seat. And the final detail i noticed was the side indicator. E39 is located on the bottom half of the fender. I wasn't sure which it was at first either. I had my hopes for it being an E39 though.

    • Also 540i owner. What gave it away for me being a e46 was the center console cupholders!

    • Very true. My left cup holder arm broke off and the right one doesn't close anymore 😂

Too lazy to spend 30 minutes to fix it
