New Photos Have Surfaced Of 2 Other Nissan Z Protos
This one appears to be different slightly different
The new Nissan Z seems to be a car that everybody has been excited about since it was announced in June 2020. When it is revealed in September, it has had its fair share of critics on everything from the looks and color, but now there is a new one, maybe even two.
2 Nissan Z Protos
As you can see in this photo we have the Z Proto that was unveiled back in September with its bright yellow paint with a black roof and black accents but in the background, we see another Z Proto with a blueish-grey color.
Grey Nissan Z Proto
This grey Z looks to be a little bit different from the original unveil car in the fact that the rims look a little bit different and there is no black trim on the side skirts. This could be a more basic model trim level that is being teased but there is no way to truly tell.
Then earlier today, a new video and more images surfaced of yet another Z Prototype found in L.A. by Brandon (@laidoutdc4) on Instagram and Tik Tok.
As you can see, this new Z Proto is slightly different. Starting with the exterior, the obvious difference is that beautiful solid grey color. There is no black two-tone or anything like that which was a gripe several people had when the yellow one was unveiled. This one in particular also sports a nice lip spoiler that seems to pay homage to the original 240Z and really ties the rest of the car's looks a lot better. There may also be a slightly different front bumper but I can't quite tell. This Z also comes equipped with an automatic transmission instead of the manual transmission and Brandon gave us a nice shot of what the automatic Z's interior will look like.
These 2 photos that have surfaced have seemed to give people the idea that the "400Z" production has already started, but I don't quite think that's the case. Either way, I'm excited for the new Z to officially come out.

Update: 03/23/21:
Unfortunately, @laidoutdc4's Instagram and Tik-Tok posts have been taken down but it's also worth noting that he basically showed off 2 Nissan Z protos. One was silver with a black roof/trim pieces, and the other was the solid grey one I mentioned earlier. One was Automatic and the other was supposedly manual but I'm not sure which one was which.

Keen for this to come out
Quite frankly, I love the front end of the grey one.
I want to like this car, but the super harsh edges and overly square grill when there should be curves is such a turn off.
