NEWS: Brendon Hartley Confirmed for 2019/20 Formula E Seat
Formula E announced an hour ago on Youtube that Brendon Hartley will be driving for Geox Dragon racing team at the end of 2019 and heading into 2020's season of Formula E.
The Kiwi raced for Torro Rosso at the end of 2017 and for the duration of 2018 in Formula One, and was considered to have been outperformed by his teammate Pierre Gasly. However, others argue that he had terrible reliability and was unable to prove himself. Sadly he lost his seat at the end of 2018 and the impressive Alexander Albon took his place at Torro Rosso. There were no rumours regarding an F1 return.
Hartley will be driving for Geox Dragon racing team - a team with 2 victories, 9 podiums and 58 races to their name. His teammate for the upcoming season is yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned!
I look forward to seeing what Hartley will achieve in Formula E - maybe he will get Geox Dragon their third win! You can click the link below to see Formula E's announcement as well as what everyone else thinks on their YouTube Channel!
