Next wave of Honda NSX deliveries head to the UK
First allocation of 100 hybrid supercars sold in the first 12 months
Honda has announced that 50 more NSXs will make their way to the UK, following the success of the initial run.
Deliveries for the hybrid supercar began in summer last year, with the Japanese car manufacturer announcing that the first 100 cars would be delivered over a two-year period.
Honda UK has today announced that after selling out of its initial allocation within the first 12 months, a further 50 cars will be made available for the UK market. Deliveries will begin in mid-2018.
Dave Hodgetts, managing director of Honda UK, said: “The confirmation of this fresh allocation to arrive in the UK next year will allow the die-hard fans that haven’t been able to get their hands on the latest NSX to finally get their wish”
The new allocation also brings with it a second NSX-approved dealership. Crown Honda in Hendon, north London, was the supercar’s sole supplier and aftercare specialist, but has now been joined by Chiswick Honda in west London.
The Honda NSX costs from just under £150,000 and has the performance to back up its extrovert styling. Beneath the sharply styled bodywork sits a 3.5-litre V6 engine that works in conjunction with three electric motors to provide a total 573bhp.
The NSX has a top speed of 191mph and can go from zero to 60mph in less than three seconds.
