NHRA announces new title sponsor
A fantastic deal for everyone involved
After a few weeks of speculation and teasing on Twitter, today the NHRA announced their new title sponsor for the pro series, Camping World.
The sponsorship, which begins immediately, will start at an exciting time. In 2021 the NHRA will celebrate it's 70th anniversary and Camping World celebrates it's 55th anniversary. This is the perfect sponsorship as the NHRA, it's teams, drivers and fanbase have deep roots in camping, towing and general outdoor living.
Glen Cromwell, NHRA president had this to say, "Camping World has a strong history in motorsports, and we can't wait to introduce them to the incredible action of NHRA's 11,000 horsepower, 330 mph racing. Our fans, drivers, teams and partners are thrilled about the potential of this relationship as we welcome Camping World as a partner and entitlement sponsor for the NHRA and its premier series."
Chairman and CEO of Camping World Marcus Lemonis, in a raceday interview with Brian Lohnes and Tony Pedregon had this to say, "I look at NHRA and I see a growing and loyal fan base. NHRA recognizes the product it has in the sport of drag racing and it's responsibility to serve its fans. We at Camping World look forward to this new relationship."
Camping World will have a significant presence at national events and during NHRA broadcasts on the Fox broadcast network and FS1.
