The German BWT Mücke Motorsport squad is aiming for the #ADACF4 Rookie Championship with Niklas Krütten. The 15-year-old will also take part in both the Italian and UAE Formula 4 Championships.
Krütten first sat behind the wheel of a kart at the age of eight, racing in the KCT Mini Kart Cup. His first big career highlight followed in 2012, finishing third overall in the West German ADAC Kart Cup.
Along the way to ADAC F4 Germany, he competed in other highly-competitive and prestigious karting championships, such as ADAC Kart Masters. Later on, the young talented driver showcased great performances on an international level, taking top-five and top-ten finishes in the German Kart Championship, Italy's Trofeo delle Industrie and the CIK-FIA European and World Championships.

Adding to Krütten's current history of success, BWT Mücke Motorsport - who are renowned for their development of young drivers, having been in both German and Italian Formula since the very beginning - can also look back on a rich history, including 16 wins and 58 podium finishes. As a result of that, the partnership between Mücke and Krütten is expected to be a fruitful one.
"We've already shown that we have a sixth sense when it comes to choosing our drivers in recent times, and I can also see us in a very good position with Niklas for the upcoming season. We've watched him for quite a while and during testing of the "pink panther," he pointed out that he has what it takes to fight for the rookie title in 2018. Niklas has done well in both national and international karting competition, and the time is right for him to take his next big step with us. Just like any other rookie, Niklas will learn a lot in his first Formula 4 season, with the rookie title firmly in his sights," said Team Principal Peter Mücke.
