Nissan GT-R with carbon bodykit might leave you drooling
Is GOJIRA the most tasteful bodykit you've ever seen?
The Nissan GT-R (R35) first rolled off the assembly line in 2007 and has received two facelifts over the years to keep the design as fresh as possible. However, it's this particular bodykit by SCL GLOBAL Concept that may just be the cosmetic treatment the GT-R has always deserved.

Appropriately named GOJIRA (Godzilla), this aerodynamic bodykit can be ordered in either extreme-temperature fiberglass or an "exclusive version" of carbon-fibre. Both variants consist of 18 body parts that can withstand temperatures of up to 120˚C (248˚F), all whilst weighing less than the original parts.

The bodykit is said to replace 90% of the GT-R's panels and increase the vehicle's width by 6cm (2.4in) despite each piece being just 2-3mm in thickness. The carbon bodykit is manufactured in close accordance with aviation technologies, making this GT-R a lightweight, aerodynamic masterpiece.
GOJIRA is so well executed that it is difficult to find an unattractive element or angle. The grille and air intakes are simplistic and sleek, the wing is of perfect size, and the F1-style rear foglight is fitting for a track weapon of this caliber. Pricing is undisclosed as each bodykit is tailored to the customer's request.

I like it. It’s clean and subtle, unlike a Liberty Walk kit where it’s right in your face.
An extra 2 meters on each fender
I like the look so no issues there.
My issue is adding parts, carbon fibre or not results in making the car heavier and defeats the object of making them lighter as a lot of this is stuck onto existing parts, ergo what’s the point. The ones that are done well are where parts are replaced and indeed make the car lighter.
Fundamentally you make the car more expensive for no gain in performance, and aero improvement are minimal and make no different unless you are doing excessive speeds.
I’ll stick to stock.
It didn't.
I’ve always thought of bodykits as akin to stuffin’ a Salami down your knickers before headin’ out to your pub. Impressin’ the lasses with what isn’t real...
Your mileage may vary!
reminds me of the gtr in fast 7. RIP Paul
