Nissan-Renault Boss arrested over financial misconduct

2y ago

This just in. Carlos Ghosn, chairman and CEO of Nissan-Renault, has been arrested, and I'm quoting, "after an internal investigation revealed significant acts of misconduct". As Nissan-Renault shares plummet, Ghosn is set to be ousted in the upcoming days if not hours. This is big news for shareholders, for the brand(s) involved, and France is also interested because the French government owns 15 % of Renault brand. I guess we can definitely expect to hear more about it in the near future.
