Nissan has announced that it created a new division for NISMO, its in-house tuning division - promising more sporty Nissan road cars in the future.

NISMO also revealed that it's established a heritage parts program to provide new restoration parts for the R32 GT-R.

Takao Katagiri, head of NISMO, announced that its heritage parts program will kick off with the R32 GT-R, and if it proves to be successful, the program will expand to include other classic Nissan performance cars.

  • i think it could be a smart move for Nissan to encourage the preservation of collectors-worthy examples of the GT-R. It also is a much needed sign to their enthusiast community that they still value their performance heritage when there are worrying rumors that only the GT-R may survive from their performance lineup.

  • They need to include 240's in this, all 240's now are either sat rotting in a shed or a low af drift missile, which yeh is awesome but it wont exactly preserve them🙌🔰
