Norisring will host the last race of the DTM in 2021
The decision was made to give the public the opportunity to access the stands
For several years it has been customary for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters to finish at the Hockenheimring, but this year there has been a change. In fact, the famous Norisring will host the last race of the season in the second week of October.
Initially the Nuremberg race was scheduled for the summer period, but due to the health emergency it was decided to move it to the autumn. This decision was also made to allow the public to see the race, foreseeing that in the coming months there should be an easing of the restrictions.
Currently the South African Kelvin van der Linde and the New Zealander Liam Lawson are contending for the victory in the championship. If their results remain constant for the rest of the season there could be a very interesting race to take the triumph in the legendary German championship which this year features GT3 cars for the first time.
