Normal service will resume tomorrow
Over the weekend, I haven't really been that productive on DriveTribe, and for this, I am sorry.
I have been really busy at my part-time job at Games Workshop as it was Warhammer World's 20th birthday Open-day event... which was massive. I am so tired. Normally I only work 2 days a week there but due to someone leaving to join another part of the company and the massive birthday event, I working 4 days - Friday to Monday today. This was Saturday and now you know why I am been away...

The scale of the event is hard to put down, it's not as big as an NEC or London EXCEL event, but here at Warhammer World, we only can allow 800 people at a time into the gaming hall and back areas with the painting competitions. We sold out of tickets with in 2 days of them going on sale.
Customers were still allowed into the shop though, even though there wasn't room to swing a cat. Also I had to paint a model for the event and the Sunday as well so my fingers feel like they are bleeding. Sorry, it's not that great a photo, but you might like it...
Over that whole day, 1200 people came through those doors and I am truly knackered, still going on as I put my make-up on for my Monday shift. Most part-timers in places don't care all that much about work, but I say this with the words of my own boss:
"You really give a shit and I love that."
Thanks man, I do care about both my jobs (insert smiley face) and with that I'm off to work for one more day. I will be writing tonight and still being silly, so normal service will resume for this geek soon.
