Most motorcycle marques are lucky if they can develop a bike for a few thousand miles around a test facility. Norton had the privilege of testing their latest supebike at the toughest race in the world, the Isle Of Man TT.

Details of two new sportsbikes were revealed last year, the V4RR and V4SS, at £28,000 and £44,000 respectively.

All of the allocated machines were quickly sold out and the last year has included thorough product development as well as road testing, ahead of deliveries at the end of this year.

The order books so far contain 200SS and 300 of the cheaper RR models.

  • A great name produces a limited bikes, you & I pay the price... but in 10 years time I’m sure this will almost double in value

  • I'm a sucker for British steel (or carbon-fibre) and I always liked the look of this Norton. The only problem I see is the price of the RR, in my mind at £28k is about £7k more than it should have been but given they're all sold what do I know.
